the beginning of our relationship with Dead Beat Records. They wrote
and asked if we wanted to do a single. We had two extra songs we
couldn't fit on the Quetzalcoatl album so we figured
we might as well let them do it. They seem nice enough. Front and
back covers stolen from a book on Goddard. What Could I
Have Done is about a football player from my high school
that got cut from the college team and jumped from his dorm room
balcony."
'Goddard' referred to above is, of course, the French film director
Jean-Luc
