The second benefit compilation from this label for a local
hunt saboteurs group. Apart from J Church, there's Black Kronstadt
from Canada, Greek band Mi-Aema and a good cross-section of British
hardcore of the time, including excellent pop-punk (Gan), the original
type of emo (Bob Tilton - well reknowned worldwide) and drunk punk
(Bus Station Loonies). The high point of the tape is the Loonies'
song Threshers (a beer & wine, for those of
you who don't have it in your part of the world) which does a hilarious
take-off of Cop Killer by Bodycount.
Wat Tyler's Song For Guy Fawkes appears on the
tracklist but not on my copy of the tape. I don't think there's
anything exclusive on here except maybe the live Wat Tyler track
but it's an excellent compilation and money goes to a good cause.
There's also a booklet with the tape which, as well as the musical
details, gives information on hunt sabbing. It's still available,
as far as I know, from Flat 3, 72a Parchment Street, Winchester
SO23 8AT, UK. |
